Duke...

I decided to surprise the girls a few days ago with a fuzzy new addition to our family. We adopted "Duke" the only kitten with markings. He is full of spit and vinegar, snuggles and love, and totally crazy. He keeps everyone who sees him in stitches. A really cute side note....Duke is Chloe's brother. Who lives with Christine Adoph and her family.

ScrapFest! Me Myself and I Class Sample

Heading out next Tuesday to MOA to teach a Mini Book class at Scrapfest. We will be creating a book of intentions and random bits of you. I will also be in the Creative Imaginations booth doing lots'o make-n-takes. (CI has prepped for 2000 scrappers) I think my head will be spining.

BTW----one of the questions in the Mini book class is. " What would you do if you were not afraid?"

The Red Bee & your Inner RockStar

I am teaching a class on Tues sept 25th 6-8:30 pm at The Red Bee in Tustin.....here are a few photos of the album we will be making. We will spend the eveneing playing with my RockStar collection And Ecclecti-Ka Embellies as well as making some of our own embellish and blinging it up with foils, glitter ,and what ever else tickles my fancy.

Feelin' the pressure.

Still feeling stressed. Trying to get everything done and be everything to everyone....man that gets tiring. Took a wee bit of me time today to make a few things.

I made a couple of fun rings from my new Ecclect-i-Ka Collection. I love these brads so much since they remind me of my jewelry making roots.

Cool Homework Assignment

Kennedy came home with the coolest homework assignment today....The assignment. Pick three words that describe you and a song or movie that most describes you or that you identify with. Scrap Book Lifestyles

I filmed this webisode a few weeks back for Scrapbook LifeStyle. It was pretty fun. Amazing how a couple hours of film can be cut down to 7 short minutes. Sad how unforgiving a camera can be to the aging process...good thing i feel young!

Making Stuff

Always makes me feel good....This has been a pretty stressful week. My best stress reliever is to create something with my hands that is not related to deadlines. I used the Bare Elements Adrian magnetic paper clips to create these cute little clips, all of the images are from vintage magazines and dictionaries. I hoard old books just for projects like this. I will be selling these along with tons of other goodies next weekend at Paris to the Moon in Costa Mesa. All through the week i will post more photos of items i am bringing to the Artist Market....I plan on doing some early Christmas shopping myself while i am there....Yes, i did say Christmas shopping, afterall it is only a few months away.

A few more picture from my little shopping expedition to Costa Mesa. These photos are from Paris to the Moon's sister store Dark Side of the Moon located in the same parking lot. I am a HUGE Halloween fan, so this store had my heart from the get go.

Paris To The Moon

This store makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop. I have never once been in there without finding some sort of treasure to bring home with me. It is a mix of fabulous gifty items and some incredible work done by some amazing artisans.

Don't these photos just make you want to browse for hours. Seriously the shop is tiny but jam packed with mouthwatering eye candy. Now for the cool news. I am participating in their Artist Market August Saturday August 25th....selling jewelery and mixed media wall art.....and i will be shopping from some of my favorite collage artists...I will post a list of participants in the next few days. okay off to create more goodies!
